Mobnotes selected for ADI Design Index 2010

Mobnotes has been selected the for ADI Design Index 2010 in the thematic area Service Design.
ADI Design Index brings together and represents the leading protagonists in the Italian Design System: designers, companies, distributors, schools and universities; design experts working in training and research centres and in publishing houses, and even historians, critics and journalists; institutions and associations.


ADI was established in 1956 in Milan on the initiative of a group of architects, designers and entrepreneurs committed to defining a new industrial aesthetics. It was, and still is, the driver and actor of a new design and product culture. ADI has contributed to positioning Italian design and the Made in Italy phenomenon in the forefront of contemporary taste, acquiring a recognised international leadership.


Mobnotes may now enter the 22nd edition of the International ADI Compasso d’Oro Award.
The award is internationally recognized as a the greatest certificate for the design quality of a product, a service, a research. Thanks to its prestige, it has promoted Italian design for more than fifty years all around the world. To enter you have to be selected for ADI Design Index.


The award was established in Milan in 1954 by “La Rinascente” department store in order to stimulate the “aesthetics of the product” in the emerging Italian “industrial design”. The Award brand, the compass invented by Adalbert Goeringer to measure the golden section, was designed by Albe Steiner, while the three-dimensional object was designed by the architects Alberto Rossi and Marco Zanuso.
