Put your face on the map!

For the last few months, we've worked on beta testing “Faces”, a new cool feature on Mobnotes. Using Faces you can see the location of your friends on a map.

We are excited that today we're finally releasing Mobnotes Faces on all the platforms, including xhtml mobile version (please note the new icon “faces” on the top right corner of the main top navigation bar).

Using Faces you can see the people around you, including your friends: you can choose to see your friends only - clicking on "Friends" button – or cruise through all the people in your surroundings. You can send a free message to your friends, and contact new people: new friends are just one click away!

As always we care a lot about your privacy, we won’t share any location without your prior activity: if you want to share your location you have to do it, updating your geo status (you can set it as private if you prefer).


Facebook Widget.

Try out this great new feature right now, tell your friends where you are, we’ve made it even easier: updating your geo status your friends can see your location. You can also add the Facebook widget so that your Facebook account is always updated with your chosen location, and all of your Facebook friends can follow your events.

One last important note: “Put your face on the map”, add your real profile picture, it will help you meet new people and also your friends will find you more easily. You can do it anytime by going to your profile and uploading a pic or you can use our selfservice shooter to take a new instant profile photo.
